Classic White
Palest straw in colour, the ethereal appearance belies a complex, rich palate. Musk and hints of berries play over a fruity base with a touch of sweetness and fine cleansing acid. An absolute delight!
Varietal characters are very much to the fore and the wine is nicely balanced with a fresh lingering finish. Here is a wine perfect for matching with seafood or poultry dishes.
Driftwood Winery
Driftwood Estate is located in the upper reaches of the Margaret River appellation. Free draining gravelly loam to a depth of one meter over solid subsoil of mottled clay is the foundation of our vineyard.
Warm to hot summer with mild winters is the simplest way to describe our climate (Mediterranean). The vines thrive in these conditions getting plenty of sunshine to ripen the fruit.
Low relative humidity decreases fungal disease pressure helping to increase quality. Quality means everything at Driftwood Estate Vineyard.
The soil, climate and vineyard practices consistently combine to create intense varietal characteristics in our fruit.....more on this producer
