of the annual guide by the renowned wine writer.

Ray has dutifully sniffed, swirled and tasted his way through more than 2000
of the best West Australian wines, and his ratings and tasting notes for
samples of each wine are included.
“The tasting was left as late as possible in the year to capture the current releases and to ensure up-to-date vintages,” Ray says. “It is a comprehensive look at currently available West Australian wine.”
The easy-to-read guide is divided into WA’s nine wine regions: the Swan Valley and Districts, Perth Hills, Peel, Geographe, Margaret River, Pemberton, Manjimup, Blackwood and the Great Southern.
Each region is colour-coded, with wineries listed alphabetically for ease of use. Maps of the regions, which include winery locations, are located at the back of the guide for reference, and the handy size makes the guide ideal to store in the glovebox during your travels.
Realising that many of the winery regions are popular tourism destinations, the introduction for each region is now lifestyle-focussed, and includes tourism information for visitors to the regions.
